Lisa Korwin launched
Korwin Consulting with a commitment to assist organizations respond
thoughtfully and effectively to pressing community
needs. Having worked directly with nonprofit organizations in various
capacities—Program Developer, Fund Developer, Executive Director,
Coalition Member and Chair—Lisa saw many of these organizations
struggling to keep up with day-to-day operations. These organizations
had little time for thoughtful reflection—the type of reflection
that leads to program refinement and true social change.
After 10 years
of direct nonprofit experience, Lisa obtained a Master’s
degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Organizational
Change, and began consulting with nonprofit, government, and philanthropic
organizations throughout the State of California, first as a Senior
Manager with The Center for Applied Local Research, then with BTW
Consultants, and now as Principal of Korwin Consulting.
